To make it as easy as possible for you to get a great image into your news report, we have included some simple, straightforward and hopefully intuitive tools. These tools will help make choosing and placing an image an easy process - all you have to do is follow the simple steps outlined below.
1. Click the image behind the news reader to begin uploading a photo.
2. Click the browse button and then select an image from your computer's hard disc, a cdrom, or other attached storage device. Once you have selected an image it will automatically begin uploading to the viewer. This may take up to a minute depending on the file size of the image, the speed of your computer and your internet connection. Note: images must be below 1mb in file size to upload.
3. Once the image has finished uploading a viewer will appear. This is where you can resize and reposition your image to best fit into the news report. Resize by dragging the slider to the left and right - this will increase and decrease the size of the image.
4. Reposition the image so that it best fits into the centre square. Do this by clicking and dragging the image until the composition is to your liking.
5. Make sure you click the "save" button to record your image. You will then see the image you have just uploaded in the context of the news report.
5. That's it, you're done. Just make sure you select from the drop down menus to better customise the news report to your friend. And don't forget to add a personal message / news update in the news ticker entry field - it will appear in the bottom blue box when the photo appears in the news report. Now get cracking!
